Answer with explanation:

Coordinates of point C = (6,0)

Coordinates of origin, O =(0,0)

So,we have to find a segment ,perpendicular to segment O C.

Let, Coordinate of Point P,which is obtained by rotation of point C,through 90 =(x,y)

→Slope of segment O C × Slope of Segment OP,which is obtained by rotation of segment ,O C after 90°= -1

\frac{0-0}{6-0} \times {\text{Slope of OP}}= -1\\\\ \frac{y-0}{x-0}=\frac{-6}{0}\\\\ -6 x=0\\\\x=0

Also, OC=OP

→ O C²=O P²

∴→, x² + y²=6²

→ 0² +y²=6²

→ y²=6²

→y=6 ∧ y= -6

But we have to find point , C after a 90 degree in clockwise direction,which is = (0,-6)

Option A : (0,-6)

A total of 30 percent of the geese included in a certain migration study were male. If some of the geese migrated during the stu
Serggg [28]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

<em><u>(B). </u></em>\frac{7}{12}

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

In the question,

Let the total number of geese be = 100x

Number of Male geese = 30% = 30x

Number of Female Geese = 70x

Let us say 'kx' geese migrated from these geese.

Number of migrated Male geese = 20% of kx = kx/5

Number of migrated Female geese = 4kx/5

So,

<u>Migration rate of Male geese</u> is given by,

\frac{(\frac{kx}{5})}{30x}

<u>Migration rate of Female geese</u> is given by,

\frac{(\frac{4kx}{5})}{70x}

So,

The ratio of Migration rate of Male geese to that of Female geese is given by,

\frac{\left[\frac{(\frac{kx}{5})}{30x}\right]}{\left[\frac{(\frac{4kx}{5})}{70x}\right]}=\frac{350}{4\times 150}=\frac{7}{12}

Therefore, the<em><u> ratio of the rate of migration of Male geese to that of Female geese is,</u></em>

\frac{7}{12}

<em><u>Hence, the correct option is (B).</u></em>

What is the quotient of (2x3 – 29x + 13) ÷ (x + 4)?
sleet_krkn [62]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  C.  2x^2 -8x +3 +1/(x +4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Synthetic division is useful for finding the quotient. Or, you can use polynomial long division. The result is the same, but synthetic division requires less writing.
