The formula of a triangle is half(base times height)

A= 1/2(BH)
48 cm^2= 1/2(6 cm times height)

48(2)= 1/2(6xh) 2

96= (6xh)

96/6=h
16=h

The height of the triangle is 16 cm.

Hope this helps!

First you must convert the denominator to an equal number by finding a same multiple, in this case it is 12. So the factions convert to 3/12 and 8/12. Now add the two, resulting in 11/12. So the answer is 11/12
