Answer:

9.6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

To  solve the Russian doll question, you can use proportions.

The height of the largest Russian doll in the picture is 4.5 cm. In real life it is 13.5 cm, so you can put this into a ratio.

4.5/13.5

To find the real-life height of the smallest Russian doll, do the same thing a you did with the largest Russian doll but instead of putting "13.5" (the real-life height) put the variable x.

3.2/x

Make these ratios equal to each other.

  • 4.5/13.5 = 3.2/x

Cross multiply.

  • 4.5x = 43.2

Divide both sides of the equation by 4.5.

  • x = 9.6

The real-life height of the smallest Russian doll is 9.6 cm.

La figura mostrada se dividió en tres partes iguales para calcular su área.
levacccp [35]

Answer:

El área de un rectángulo de largo L y ancho A es: L*A.

El área de un triangulo de alto H y base B es: H*B/2.

Ahora veamos las tres figuras:

Rectángulo amarillo:

Largo = 40m

Ancho = 45m

Área = 40m*45m = 1800 m^2

Rectángulo blanco:

Largo = 40m

Ancho = 35m

Área = 40m*35m = 1400m^2

Triangulo azul:

Base = 35m

Alto = 50m

Área = 35m*50m/2 = 875m^2

Area total = 1800 m^2 + 1400m^2 + 875m^2 = 4075m^2

Marquis used the steps below to find the solution to the inequality Negative 5. 6 greater-than-or-equal-to x 3. 6. Step 1 Subtra
NISA [10]

Marquis solutions are;

  • The value of x is less than or equal to -9.2.
  • Negative 9.2 is greater than or equal to x.
  • The closed circle is at -9.6 that is everything to the left of the circle is shaded.
<h3>What is inequality?</h3>

Inequality is simply a type of equation that does not have an equal sign in it. Inequality is defined as a statement about the relative size as we will as is used to compare two statements.

Marquis used the steps below to find the solution to the inequality Negative 5.6 greater than or equal to x + 3.6 that can be written as

\rm -5.6 \geq  x + 3.6

A.  Then the value of x will be

      - 5.6 ≥ x + 3.6

-5.6 - 3.6 ≥ x

       -9.2 ≥ x

B.  Negative 9.2 is greater than or equal to x.

C.  The number line is shown. The closed circle is at -9.6 that is everything to the left of the circle is shaded.

More about the inequality link is given below.

Answer:g(X)=2x^2-10

Step-by-step explanation:

If a function f(x) is translated 'c' units down then the equation of the translated function be f(x)-c

Here, f(x) is translated 2 units down to obtain g(x).

Hence, we have

g(x)=f(x)-2

   =2x^2-8-2

  =2x^2-10
