The finger like projections of the small intestines are called?
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

The finger like projections of the small intestines are called villi.

Explanation:

The structure of villi is just like human finger. Villi increases the surface area of small intestine which increases the absorption. Villi is a part of small intestine which is responsible for the absorption of nutrients that are present in the food particles. These nutrients are again combined with the blood and used by the body. Villi do not helps in the digestion of food substances, they can only absorb.

Identify 3 solutions to the issue of human impact on the environment
slega [8]

Explanation:

1.) taking trains or riding bicycles to destinations.

When you do this, it produces a lot less carbon emission, contributing less to the greenhouse effect and global warming. (And with bicycles, it produces none!)

2.) Quit littering on the ground, throw it in the trash!

When you litter, that can get trash in oceans and animals habitats. In oceans, fish can get stuck in a plastic ring or cup, casing it to die.

If you, for instance, throw a cigarette on the ground, an animal could eat it. The gasoline, paint, paper, and tobacco can severely injure an animal, or even kill it. When a predator sees this animal, they could eat it, causing the tobacco to get into the predator, which could also kill the animal as well.

3.) Recycle.

When you recycle, less trash goes into landfills (which are super bad for the environment). Recycling things makes them reusable! If you have a plastic water jug, instead of throwing it away, fill it with other water and store it for just in case. Recycling things depletes the amount of trash being produced and thrown into oceans and other habitats.
