cause sin (×) = 27/32
so to make x alone take the inverse of sin
hence

sin^-1(27/32)=x

i think you can find the sin^-1 on the calculator

He is right. Anyways, on your calculator press "2nd" then press sin and it should now say sin^-1 then put in 27/32 and close the parenthesis. That'll give you the andwer

You helped organize a birthday party for twenty kids. You filled 150 water balloons and the kids smashed 4/5 of them in ten minu
notka56 [123]

Answer:

30

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay, to find the number of balloons left over, disregard the number of kids and focus only on 150 balloons and that only 4/5 were "smashed." Multiply 150 by 4/5 to find the amount of balloons used, which is 120, and find the difference between 150 and 120, which is 30.

8. Write an equation for a line that is parallel to the given line and that passes through the given point.
stepan [7]

Answer:

B. y = 5/2x - 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope of the original line and use the point-slope formula  y − y 1 = m (x − x 1 )  to find the line parallel to  y = 5 /2 x − 10 .

y = 5 /2 x − 14                         PARALLEL

...................................................................................................................................................

Find the negative reciprocal of the slope of the original line and use the point-slope formula  y − y 1 = m ( x − x 1 )  to find the line perpendicular to  y = 5 /2 x − 10 .

y = − 2 /5 x − 157 /5           PERPENDICULAR

Carter drank 15.75 gallons of water in 4 weeks. He drank the same amount of water each day.
Igoryamba

Answer:

a. about 1/2 gallon per day

b. about 4 gallons per week

c. 36 days to drink 20 gallons

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that Carter drank 15.75 gallons of water in 4 weeks, that is 28 days (4 x 7).  In order to find the number of gallons he drank in one day, divide the total number of gallons by the number of days:  15.75/28 = .5625 gallons.  If you are estimating, that is about a half gallon each day.

Since the total number of weeks was 4, in order to find the number of gallons in one week, you divide the total gallons by 4 weeks:  15.75/4 = 3.9375.  If you are estimating, that is about four gallons each week.

In order for Carter to drink 20 gallons, you can take the amount of gallons and divide by the number he drinks daily:  20/0.5625 = 36 days.
