The hypotenuse side of a triangle is the slope looking side. It is also, sometimes, not always, the side with the missing angle. The hypotenuse looks almost like a downward line. It is also the side of a triangle that is not on the Right Angle. I hope this helped!

What is StartAbsoluteValue 8 EndAbsoluteValue?
Minchanka [31]

The absolute value of 8 that is |8| is equal to 8.

We have given that,

|8|

We have to determine the value of |8|.

What is the absolute value?

The absolute value or modulus of a real number x denoted |x|, is the non-negative value of x without regard to its sign. Namely, {\displaystyle |x|=x}if x is a positive number, and {\displaystyle |x|=-x} if x is negative, and {\displaystyle |0|=0}.

Absolute values only find the true distance of a number from 0. Distance is always positive, so the absolute value of anything is always positive.

|8| = 8

(Picture) MULTIPLYING MONOMIALS AND BINOMIALS
Sauron [17]

Answer:

Option C is correct, i.e. 2x² +7x -4.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is (2x-1)(x+4)

Applying FOIL method:-

F- multiply First two, O- multiply Outer two, I- multiply Inner two, L- multiply Last two.

So, (2x-1)(x+4) = 2x*x +2x*4 -1*x -1*4

(2x-1)(x+4) = 2x² +8x -1x -4

(2x-1)(x+4) = 2x² +7x -4

Hence, option C is correct, i.e. (2x-1)(x+4) = 2x² +7x -4.
