The purpose of a party whip, or an assistant party leader, is to keep track of the number of votes for and against a piece of legislation. They're also responsible for “whipping up” support for a particular position. The job of the whips is to sustain communication between the leader of the party and the members, marshal support for party positions on the floor, count votes on key legislation, and persuade wavering members to vote for the party position.

Hope this helps! If you find it helpful, do you mind giving me brainliest? :)

bazaltina [42]

Children are gifts from God and so therefore should not be exploited. The statement about child soldiers in Sierra Leone as a belief of international NGOs, or a belief of Sierra Leoneans are:

The Beliefs of Sierra Leone:

  • They believe that children can be breadwinners.

  • They also believes that children can be fostered by other families.

The Beliefs of the international NGOs:

  • They also believes that children should be raised by their own family.

In some countries of the world, a lot of children are exploited. Countries like Sierra Leone and Congo often have young children serving as soldiers in armed conflicts.
