Answer:

The range of the function is {1,3,5}.

Step-by-step explanation:

The function is defined as

F=\{(x,y)|2x+y=7\}

The set of all possible inputs is called domain and the set of output is called range.

In other words the possible values of x are elements of domain and the values of y are the elements of range.

Since the domain is {1,2,3} and the function is

2x+y=7

Put x=1

2(1)+y=7

2+y=7

y=7-2

y=5

Put x=2

2(2)+y=7

4+y=7

y=7-4

y=3

Put x=3

2(3)+y=7

6+y=7

y=7-6

y=1

Since the possible values of y are 5,3 and 1, therefore the range of the function is {1,3,5}

Determine if each equation is a linear equation.
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer:

Linear-1,2,3,6

Nin-Linear-4,5

Step-by-step explanation:

A linear equation is an equation in which the highest power of the  variable is 1.

Out of the given equations, the following are linear.

1) 5x_1 + x_2 - 7x_3 = 4

2) 5x_1 + 4.6x_2 + 12x_3 = -5

3) 3x_1 - x_3 = -5x_2 + 7

6) 6x_1 - 4x_2 + x_3 = 0

These equations on the other hand are nonlinear.

4) 3x_1x_2 + x_3 = 5

5) 4x_1^3 + x_2 = 5

No 4 contains a term which is the product of two variables therefore it is not linear.

No 5 contains a term whose highest power is 3. Such an equation is a Cubic Equation.

Multiply 6√3 • 8√14 • √10 • √2
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

96 sqrt(210)

Step-by-step explanation:

6√3 • 8√14 • √10 • √2

We multiply what is outside the square roots with what is outside the square roots  and what is inside the square roots with what is inside the square roots

6*8 = 48

3*14*10*2 = 840

6√3 • 8√14 • √10 • √2

48 sqrt(840)

48 sqrt( 4*210)

sqrt(a*b) = sqrt(a) sqrt(b)

48 sqrt(4) sqrt(210)

48 *2 sqrt(210)

96 sqrt(210)

210 is 3*7 *5*2  which are all primes, so we cannot simplify the sqrt (210)

Use the Distributive Property to write each expression as an equivalent algebraic expression. (7 + a)3 Question 4 options: 3(7a)
AysviL [449]

Answer:

(B)21+3a

Step-by-step explanation:

An expression is said to be distributive when:

(a+b)c=a \cdot c+b \cdot c

Given the algebraic expression: (7 + a)3

Applying the distributive property

(7 + a)3 = 7 \cdot 3+a \cdot 3\\=21+3a

An equivalent expression is 21+3a.

The correct option is B

melisa1 [442]

The two angles are vertical angles, which means they are the same.

Set the two equations to equal and solve:

2x +2 = 3x -52

Subtract 2x from each side:

2 = x -52

Add 52 to each side:

x = 54
