4/5 or 4 over 5 I believe is the correct answer. I am not sure if your multiple choice answers posted.

Every fraction is a division problem. Therefor, 4/5 is the fraction, and any multiple (such as 8/10 or 16/20) will also represent 4/5 since when you divide them they all give you the same answer, 0.2.

\frac{4}{5}

Which matrix is equal to... (picture added)
Ghella [55]

Answer:

D \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-6&-6.5&1.7\\-2&-8.5&19.3\end{array}\right]

Step-by-step explanation:

Two matrices are equal when they

  • have the same sizes (so options A and B are false)
  • have equal corresponding elements (so option C is false, because -6≠6, -6.5≠6.5, 1.7≠-1.7 and so on)

If in option D the second row is 2  -8.5  19.3 , then these matrix is equal to the given.

What is a coefficient
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

In mathematics, a coefficient is a multiplicative factor in some term of a polynomial, a series, or any expression; it is usually a number, but may be any expression. In the latter case, the variables appearing in the coefficients are often called parameters, and must be clearly distinguished from the other variables

In order for the data in the table to represent a linear function with a rate of change of +5, what must be the value of m?
katen-ka-za [31]
<span>The table to represent a linear function with a rate of change of +5
</span>
so, m = 13 + 5 = 18

The correct answer is option 3 ⇒ <span>m = 18
</span>
========================================
another solution :
The table represents a linear function
the general equation of the linear function is ⇒ y = ax+b
where a is the slope and b is constant
By using the first and the third points from table to find the equation of the linear function
at x = 3  ⇒ y = 13   and   at x = 5 ⇒ y = 23
∴ 13 = 3a+b → (1)

23 = 5a+b → (2)
solve (1) and (2) to find a and b
So,  a = 5  and b = -2
∴ y = 5x - 2

After that by substitution with x = 4 int the equation of y
∴ y = 5*4-2 = 18

∴ m = 18
