20-2 (5+5) youre supposed to do what's in 18+10. the parentheses first which is 28. 5+5=10 then 20-2=18 so then you add 10+18=28✔

What is the quotient of the following division problem (x+ 1)÷(x^2 + 3x +2)
seraphim [82]

Note: Actually, the division problem should be in reverse order. It should be given as (x^{2} +3x+2) / (x+1) ---------(i)

But according to the given problem (x + 1) / (x² + 3 x + 2).

Here, (x² + 3 x + 2) > (x + 1)

or, (x + 2) > 1

Concept: By using the property of division, if the numerator is less than the denominator then the quotient will always be 0 (zero)

Therefore the option (d) 0 will be the correct option.

Three moons are in the same circular orbit around a planet. The moons are each 115,000 kilometers from the surface of the planet
marshall27 [118]
275,000 km
The moons A, B, C form a right triangle with AC forming a hypotenuse with the diameter of the planet and the distance of both moons from the surface. So add A to the surface, plus the diameter of the planet, plus surface to c.
115000+45000+115000 = 275000

What is the y-intercept of the line that is
DaniilM [7]

Answer:

The y-intercept of the line would be (C) 8

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of the line with the equation y = -3x - 5 is -3. When figuring out a slope perpendicular to another line you would use the negative reciprocal of the slope which would lead to the slope of the line to be 1/3.

We know it passes through the point (-3,7), substituting x and y, we would then get our new equation, (7) = \frac{1}{3}( -3) + b.

Solve the equation by multiplying -3 with 1/3 and the product would be -1. Add negative one on both sides and you would get 8 = b.
