• She was present at the counseling center and the female’s basketball coach asked if there was anybody who could help with the women as an all-purpose counselor. She worked with team building and personality therapies.

2. What kinds of athletes/sports has Dr. Seldman worked with?  Which seem to have higher levels of eating disorders.

• She worked with various gymnast, basketball players, swimmers, volleyball players, tennis players, runners, and soccer players. The Gymnast appeared to have the uppermost levels of eating disorders.

3. Discuss any factors that are distinctive to athletes that contribute to their development of eating disorders. In other words, what is it about being an athlete that may contribute to the likelihood of developing an eating disorder?

• Factor that are distinctive, are only a particular body type could execute for certain events, such as in track even if the athlete PRed they would still be informed to lose 5lbs based on a perfect body weight.
