Answer:

Explanation:

When osteocytes were experimentally destroyed, the bones showed a significant increase in bone resorption, decreased bone formation, trabecular bone loss, and loss of response to unloading. ... The osteocyte is an important regulator of bone mass and a key endocrine regulator of phosphate metabolism.

The sequence of the mRNA that would result from transcribing a DNA template strand with the bases TACGCTAAT would be
hichkok12 [17]

The sequence of the mRNA that would result from transcribing a DNA template strand with the bases TACGCTAAT would be AUGCGAUUA.

What is transcription?

Transcription is the first stage of gene expression in which mRNA sequence is produced from a DNA template.

During transcription, the following applies to the DNA molecule being transcribed:

 • Adenine base (A) is transcribed into Uracil (U)
 • Guanine base (G) is transcribed into Cytosine (C) and vice versa.
 • Thymine base (T) is transcribed into Adenine (A)

Therefore, the sequence of the mRNA that would result from transcribing a DNA template strand with the bases TACGCTAAT would be AUGCGAUUA.

Explain WHY photosynthesis and respiration are NOT able to create a cycle of energy?
jeka94

In a plant cell, photosynthesis and cellular respiration can both take place simultaneously. Plants carry out both photosynthesis and cellular respiration during the day. Cellular respiration continues because it provides the energy required for essential cell functions.

What role of photosynthesis and respiration in plant?

Water and carbon dioxide are changed into oxygen and glucose during photosynthesis. The plant consumes glucose and produces oxygen as a byproduct.

Oxygen and glucose are transformed into water and carbon dioxide during cellular respiration. By-products of the process include carbon dioxide, water, and ATP, which is turned into energy.

To power cellular respiration, photosynthesis uses the energy it produces. During photosynthesis, solar energy is used, collected, and stored in the bonds of glucose molecules.

Therefore, photosynthesis and respiration not involve energy formation cycle.

Why can rats smell almost three times more compounds than humans?
Hunter-Best [27]
The smell of Danger.
Researchers have discovered a single compound found in high concentrations in the urine of carnivores that triggers an instinctual avoidance response in mice and rats. This is the first time that scientists have identified a chemical tag that would let rodents sense carnivores in general from a safe distance.
