A 64.4-g sample of potassium chloride was added to 200.0 g of water at 20 degrees C. Is the solution saturated, unsaturated, or
Tomtit [17]
Hey there!:

is the solution <span>saturated  , ie :

</span>They are the ones that have reached the exact solubility coefficient.<span>If we mix 64.4 g of KCl at 200.0 g of water at 20 º C, we'll see that the 32.2 g will dissolve and the remainder (32.2 g) will precipitate, forming the bottom body. In this case we will then have a solution saturated with background. However, if we want only the saturated solution, simply perform a simple filtration to separate the precipitate from the saturated solution.

hope this helps!</span>

What Grant felt was something known as a ‘static current’. Experiencing a light electrical shock when you touch another person, (in this case when Grant touched Olivia) is when electrons move quickly towards the protons.

The theoretical yield for a reaction is 55.9 g LiCl. The actual yield is 24.6 g LiCl. What is the percent yield of the reaction?
xenn [34]
In chemical reactions, the actual yield is not the same as the expected yield . Actual yield is lower than the theoretical yield . Then we have to find the yield percentage. To see what percentage of the theoretical yield is the actual yield.
Percent yield = actual yield / theoretical yield x 100%
Percent yield = 24.6/55.9 x100%
Percent yield = 44%

You perform a distillation to separate a mixture of propylbenzene and cyclohexane, and you obtain 2.9949 grams of cyclohexane (d
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

66.67%

Explanation:

From the given information:

mass of cyclohexane = 2.9949 grams

density of cyclohexane = 0.779 g/mL

Recall that:

Density = mass/volume

∴

Volume = mass/density

So, the volume of cyclohexane = 2.9949 g/ 0.779 g/mL

= 3.8445 mL

Also,

mass of propylbenzene = 1.6575 grams

density of propylbenzene = 0.862 g/mL

Volume of propylbenzene =  1.6575 g/ 0.862 g/mL

= 1.9229 mL

The volume % composition of cyclohexane from the mixture is:

= (\dfrac{v_{cyclohexane}}{v_{cyclohexane}+v_{propylbenzene}})\times 100

= (\dfrac{3.8445}{3.8445+1.9229})\times 100

= (\dfrac{3.8445}{5.7674})\times 100

= 66.67%
