So basiclly you will end up getting the wrong answer. For example 234+23.
If you lined it up incorrectly you might get 464. It is actually 257. This is wy you should line it up correctly.

Answer: If we line up the digits incorrectly when we rewrite additional problem, we can get wrong answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

For example, we have the addition problem of 74+152, if we do not lined up it correctly while rewriting it for addition, we can get 792 which is wrong answer.

So to get the right answer, we need to lined it up correctly by placing them in right order according to their place value, as

HTO

152

+74

226 → which is the right answer.

Through (4,3), perpendicular to 2x-5y=7
dedylja [7]
First you want to get it to y=mx+b. to do this you have to get the y by itself on one side. 2x-5y=7 you bring -5y over and get 2x=5y+7. Then bring the 7 over and get 2x-7=5y and finally get rid of the 5 by dividing both sides by it 2x-7/5 turns into 2/5x-7/5 and 5y becomes y. Y=2/5X-7/5. Next to get the slope of a line perpendicular to another you first flip the original slope (2/5x to 5/2x) and then reverse the sign (5/2x to -5/2x). and now you have Y=-5/2X+B. To get B you must put in what you know (X is 4, Y is 3) Get 3=-5/2(4)+B and solve.
3=-5/2(4)+B to 3=-10+B. bring -10 over and get 13=B and put that in. Finally you have Y=-5/2X+13.

How many feet does a car travelling at 65 MPH go in one second ?
Semenov [28]

Answer:

At 65 mph, keeping one second of following distance means the vehicle is traveling 100 feet behind the vehicle in front. It takes an automobile a minimum of 150 feet to stop. With a 100 foot gap plus the auto's stopping distance of 150 feet, an impact would occur within 250 feet.
