Answer: check explanation

Explanation:

WHAT ARE VOLCANOES?.

Simply put, volcanoes do occur when magma within the Earth's upper mantle moves to the weak spots or ruptures or openings in the earth crust. It is these openings or ruptures of the earth crust that will then erupt hot gases, volcanic Ash and lava.

US MAINLANDS: the mainlands comprise of 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C.

It has been reported that there are about 169 potentially active volcanoes in the United States of America by the United States Geological Survey.

Since the question asked for my opinion, for me, I can not say, Volcanoes are very tricky, it might erupt with no warning and it might erupt with warning for days. All, I know is that if it is going to erupt, the numbers of the people that are going to loose their lives will be minimal, since there are now 'big' gadgets that can be used to determine whether volcanoes are going to erupt any time soon.

Classify the following dienes and polyenes as isolated, conjugated, cumulated, or some combination of these classifications.
lawyer [7]

Answer:

cycloocta-1,4-diene- isolated double bond

cycloocta-1,3-diene- conjugated double bond

cyclodeca-1,2-diene- cumulated double bond

cycloocta-1,3,5,7-tetraene- conjugated double bond

cyclohexa-1,3,5-triene (benzene) - conjugated double bond

penta-1,2,4-triene- cumulated and conjugated double bond

Explanation:

A conjugated double bond is a system that contains alternate double and single bonds. It is renowned for its unusual stability.

A cumulated double bond is a double bond system involving about three atoms e.g C=C=C.

An isolated double bond is a system of double bonds separated by more than one single bond.

Newton's third law of motion is summarized as the law of action-reaction. For every action, there is an equal but opposite react
Fantom [35]

Answer:

When we stand on the floor, we apply a force on the floor surface in the downward direction and in return the floor also exerts an upward and equal force on us.

Explanation:

Newton' third law is vey famous and it states that for each and every action, there applies an equal but opposite reaction. Thus the action force and the reaction force always acts on pairs. But they does not contribute to the motion of the object.

One such example that illustrates the action and reaction force from Newton's law is when we stand on the floor we exert a force on the floor surface in downward direction. The floor surface also exerts an opposite and equal force on us in the upward direction.
