By the looks of it, 0 solutions because they do not intersect at all.

It depends on how you look at it. The other person who answered thought they were different lines, which they could be. I think the have the same path, and equation.

If you agree with me then there are infinitely many solutions since they share each point. These lines share the same slope and y-intercept.

If you think they are separate lines with no intersections then they are parallel lines without any solutions. These lines share the same slope but have different y-intercepts.

4∣3c+5∣=16c I know the answer is five but I don't know how to get there
Anettt [7]

Answer:

c = 5, explanation for how to get there

Step-by-step explanation:

If we have the equation 4|3c+5| = 16c, we want to isolate c on one side and find it's value.

Let's first divide both sides by 4.

4|3c+5|\div4 = 16c\div4\\\\|3c + 5| = 4c

Now let's solve for the absolute value. We know that:

3c + 5 = 4c

or

3c + 5 = -4c

Possibility 1:

3c + 5 = 4c

Subtract 3c from both sides:

5 = c

Possibility 2:

3c + 5 = -4c

Add 4c to both sides:

7c + 5 = 0

Subtract 5 from both sides:

7c = -5

Divide both sides by 7:

c = \frac{-5}{7}

Plugging both of these values into the equation, we can see that only 5 works.

Hope this helped!

What are the attributes of a transformation that would result in a similar , but not congruent figure?
Dmitry_Shevchenko [17]
A transformation that changes the results in a similar, but not congruent figure would be dilation.
Dilation would only change the size, not the shape of the figure, resulting in a similar, but not congruent figure.

Hope this helps :)

Me. James has a 6-square-foot bulletin board and a 12-square-foot bulletin board. She wants to cover both boards with index card
ioda

Answer: There are 72 index cards she needed.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Area of first bulletin board = 6 square foot

Area of second bulletin board = 12 square foot

Area of each index card is given by

\frac{1}{4}\ sq.\ foot

So, Number of index cards needs for first bulletin board is given by

\frac{6}{\frac{1}{4}}\\\\=6\times 4\\\\=24

Number of index cards needed for second bulletin board is given by

\frac{12}{\frac{1}{4}}\\\\=12\times 4\\\\=48

Hence, Number of index cards she needed is given by

48+24\\\\=72

Therefore, there are 72 index cards she needed.
