Ans. (B). They are complex organs made of many types of cells and tissues.

Organ culture involves development of tissues or organs, in vitro (outside the body), to restore, maintain, or improve damaged organs or tissues. Many organs and tissues are successfully grown by engineered tissues, such as skin and cartilage.

However, heart, lungs, and other complex organs have not been very successfully grown as these organs are made up of different types of tissues and cells. For examples, heart is made up of cardiac muscle tissue, skeletal tissues, and smooth muscle tissue.

It is quite tough to assemble different types of cells and tissues to make organs fully functional or reproducible.

Thus, the correct answer is option (B).

Hello.

Man cannot scientifically recreate a heart or lung in a lab. It just doesn’t work that way. Therefore, your answer is B.

I hope this helps you!
Have a wonderful day.

The poison cyanide binds to the last complex of the electron transport chain and prevents it from accepting electrons. Assuming
Marianna [84]

Answer:

ATP synthesis by oxidative phosphorylation will stop.

Explanation:

Cyanide inhibits cytochrome oxidase that passes electrons to the molecule oxygen. Cytochrome oxidase also pumps two protons from the matrix to the intermembrane space during electron transfer. Inhibition of cytochrome oxidase would not allow the transfer of electrons to oxygen and the whole electron transport chain would be stopped. There would not be any generation of proton concentration gradient to drive the process of ATP synthesis. Hence, ATP synthesis by oxidative phosphorylation will be stopped after cyanide poisoning in aerobic cells.

Mr. Zee is prescribed an inhaled nasal steroid to relieve his symptoms associated with seasonal allergies. What is true about in
Lelu [443]

Answer:

The provided question is incomplete as there is no option available however the generalized answer would be -

The correct answer would be - For treating the global symptoms related to the allergies, it is known as that the inhaled nasal steroids are far more effective than oral medications.

Explanation:

Nasal steroids are the steroids that relieve congestion problems by decreasing the inflammation in the nose of an individual. These are then inhaled by the nose which directly sprays into nasal passages.

In comparatively the oral steroids take time to show their impact on the individual and even the impact is considered not as effective as the inhaled nasal sprays.

Thus, the correct answer is - For treating the global symptoms related to the allergies, it is known that inhaled nasal steroids are far more effective than oral medications.
