Answer:

120°

Explanation:

given,

mass of two objects are same , Let it be m

speed of both the objects = v

after inelastic collision the

mass are moving with velocity = v/2

let the angle between them be θ₁ and θ₂

writing the equation along y-axis

m v sinθ₁ - m v sinθ₂ = 0

m v sinθ₁ = m v sinθ₂

θ₁ = θ₂ = θ

writing the equation along x- axis

m v cos θ + m v cos θ = 2 m V

v cos θ =  v/2

cos\theta = \dfrac{1}{2}

\theta = cos^{-1}(\dfrac{1}{2})

\theta = 60^0

angle between the two objects = 2 θ

                                                     = 2 x 60° = 120°

A shopping mall has a length of 200 m and a width of 75 m. What is the area of the mall?
sweet [91]
To find the area, we just need to multiply the length by the width. 200 x 75 = 15,000. The mall has an area of 15,000 sq. feet.

Which of the following graph is used for determining the instantaneous velocity from the slope?
hoa [83]

Answer:

B. x - t graph

Explanation:

A position-time (x-t) graph is a graph of the position of an object against (versus) time.

Generally, the slope of the line of a position-time (x-t) graph is typically used to determine or calculate the velocity of an object.

An instantaneous velocity can be defined as the rate of change in position of an object in motion for a short-specified interval of time. Thus, an instantaneous velocity is a quantity that can be found by measuring the slope of a line that is tangent to a point on the graph.

Hence, the x - t graph also referred to as the position-time graph is used for determining the instantaneous velocity from the slope.

For example;

Given that the equation of motion is S(t) = 4t² + 2t + 10. Find the instantaneous velocity at t = 5 seconds.

Solution.

S(t) = 4t^{2} + 2t + 10

Differentiating the equation, we have;

S(t) = 8t + 2

Substituting the value of "t" into the equation, we have;

S(5) = 8(5) + 2

S(5) = 40 + 2

S(5) = 42 m/s.

How much energy is given to each coulomb of charge passing through a 6 V battery
ELEN [110]
1 volt = 1 joule per coulomb. Current doesn't actually pass 'through' a battery. But if it did, then each coulomb would gain or lose 6 joules in traversing 6 volts, depending on its sign, and whether it climbed or fell.
