The elastic potential of a spring can be calculated using the formula
E = (1/2) k x²
where are given that
k = 120 N/m
the stretched length is
x = 0.02 m

The elastic potential is
E = (1/2) (120 N/m) (0.02 m)²
E = 0.024 N-m<span />

Why are smaller planets less geologically active than larger planets?
Lelechka [254]
Each planet has a 'planetary body' that are pretty much always hot when they are being created. As time passes, that internal heat that causes geological activity is slowly lost. Larger planet bodies are able to keep the internal heat longer than smaller planets, and that heat is needed to keep the planets geologically active.
The only way a smaller planet can retain any heat is from tidal friction coming from another planet. The constant friction from the external body keeps that small planet from going completely cold to the core due to its size. Hope this helps!! :)

A parallel-plate capacitor with circular plates of radius 0.19 m is being discharged. A circular loop of radius 0.28 m is concen
aliina [53]

Answer:

\dfrac{dE}{dt}=2.59\times 10^{12}\ V/m.s

Explanation:

Given that

R= 0.19 m

r= 0.28 m

I= 2.6 A

We know that

I_D=\epsilon _oA\dfrac{dE}{dt}

A= Area of loop

dE/dt= rate of change of electric filed

I=Displacement current

Here r>R

So A=π R²

Now by putting the values

I=\epsilon _oA\dfrac{dE}{dt}

2.6=8.85\times 10^{-12}\times \pi\times 0.19^2\dfrac{dE}{dt}

\dfrac{dE}{dt}=2.59\times 10^{12}\ V/m.s

If a wave has a speed of 362 m/s and a period of 4.17 ms, its wavelength is closest to
Dominik [7]

Answer:

Option A (1.51 m) is the appropriate option.

Explanation:

The given values are:

Speed of wave,

= 362 m/s

Period,

= 4.17

Now,

⇒  v=\frac{\lambda}{T}

then,

⇒  \lambda=vT

⇒     = 362\times 4.17\times 10^{-3}

⇒     =1.51 \ m
