y=-2x + 6

Step-by-step explanation:

y-2=-2(x+4)

 +2       +2

add 2  to both sides to get y by itself.

y=-2(x + 4) + 2


distribute the -2


y= -2x - 8 + 2

add the commons

y = -2x-6
