Let the time to hike up the hill = t

As given that the total time time up and down is 3 hrs, therefore

The time down the hill = 3-t

The distance up and down is the same.

Distance = speed * time

4t=6(3-t)

4t=18-6t

10t=18

t=1.8

Hence, time taken to uphill = 1.8 hours

Time taken to down hill = 3-18 = 1.2 hours

Match the polynomial on the left with the appriately factored expression on the right x^2-3x-18
Lapatulllka [165]

The factored expression of the polynomial expression given as: x^2 - 3x - 18 is (x + 3)(x - 6)

How to match the polynomial?

The polynomial expression is given as:

x^2 - 3x - 18

Express -3x as 3x - 6x

So, we have:

x^2 + 3x - 6x - 18

Factorize the polynomial expression

x(x + 3) - 6(x + 3)

Factor out x + 3

(x + 3)(x - 6)

Hence, the factored expression of the polynomial expression given as: x^2 - 3x - 18 is (x + 3)(x - 6)

dybincka [34]

Answer:31

Step-by-step explanation: take all of the odd numbers between 16 and 47. To find the mean, or average, you add up all of your numbers and divide that number by how many numbers you started with. all of the odd numbers added together=465. divide that by the 15 odd numbers(divide by 15) and then you have your average.
