The answer is A!

The translation of a sin function can be modeled by the form: P(t)=Asin(Bx+C)+D
Where:
A = the curve's amplitude (highest and lowest points)
The period = (2[pi])/ |B|
The phase shift (horizontal shift) = (-C)/B
D = vertical shift
By looking at the function we are given: P(t)=30sin(2[pi]t)+100,
We can see that the amplitude (the curve's highest and lowest points) = 30.
The phase shift (C) or in this case 't' = 0 (so there is no horizontal shift)
The period = 1
And D (the vertical shift) = 100

Keep in mind that a sine function has a distinct, sideways 'S' curve. Always. Look it up on Google images if you want to know what I mean.

So what we're looking for is a graph whose line starts at (0,100) or 100 units ABOVE the "seconds"(x)-axis. Because D=100
It's whole 'S' curve STARTS at (0,100), goes UP 30 units, goes down again to cross over the midline (which is 100), goes DOWN further 30 units, then comes back up to the midline ALL IN 1 SECOND because the period = 1

And graph A has everything we need!
I just took this test and it is correct.
Good luck on your studies!

Let SSS represent the number of sunflower plants and LLL represent the number of lily plants Ezra's water supply can water.
Fantom [35]

Answer:

Ezra can water at most approximately 8 sunflower plants with the remaining amount of water.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the inequality function

0.7S+0.5L≤11 where S represent the number of sunflower plants and L represent the number of lily plants Ezra's water supply can water, if Ezra waters 10 lily plants, then we can calculate the maximum amount of sunflower plant that he can water with the remaining amount of water by simply substituting L = 10 into the inequality function as shown;

0.7S+0.5L≤11

0.7S+0.5(10)≤11

0.7S+5≤11

Taking 5 to the other side:

0.7S≤11-5

0.7S≤6

S≤6/0.7

S≤8.57

This shows that Ezra can water at most approximately 8 sunflower plants with the remaining amount of water.

Find the equation of the linear function represented by the table below in slope-
pav-90 [236]

Answer: y=-3x-2

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the values x=-2, y=4 and x=1, y=-5, the slope is \frac{-5-4}{1-(-2)}=-3.

So, the equation is:

y-4=-3(x+2)\\\\y-4=-3x-6\\\\y=-3x-2
