Answer:Mass is measured on a triple beam balance units = GRAMS.

Volume is measured in two ways.

Regular Object = Length X Width X Height units = cm3

Irregular Objects units = mL

 Pour about 50 mL of water into a graduated cylinder. Measure and record the exact amount.

 Add the object. Measure and record the new water level.

 SUBTRACT the original water amount from the new water level to find the volume of the object.

= MASS (g)

VOLUME (cm3

)

Example One:

A mineral has a mass of 100g and a volume of 10 mL. What is its density?

= mass = 100g = 10 g/mL

Volume 10 mL

Example Two:

A mineral has a mass of 25 g and a volume of 5 cm3

. What is its density?

= mass = 25g = 5 g/cm3

Volume 5 cm3

**Mass ÷ Volume to find the numerical answer. Bring over BOTH units**

What is your hypothesis (or hypotheses) for this experiment?
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer: In that case, Put something like "My hypothesis is that the car will take (x) seconds to get to checkpoint 1, (x) seconds to get to checkpoint 2, (x) seconds to get to checkpoint 3, and (x) seconds to get to checkpoint 4" Replacing x with random numbers, or number close to the actual found numbers, but honestly as long as the guesses arent outrageous you should get the question right

How many protons are there in any te atom
Andreyy89

Answer:

52

Explanation:

Tellurium is the element of the periodic table with atomic number 52.

The atomic number of a chemical element represents the number of atoms contained in the nucleus of the atom: therefore, this means that an atom of tellurium contains exactly 52 protons in its nucleus.

Tellurium is classified as a metalloid, having properties in between metals and non-metals, and it appears with a silver color.

Calculate the magnitude of the force exerted by each wire on a 1.20-m length of the other.
Zielflug [23.3K]

Incomplete question.The complete question is attached below as screenshot along with figure

Answer:

F=6.00*10^{-6}N

Force is repulsive

Explanation:

Given data

Current I₁=5.00A

Current I₂=2.00A

Length L=1.20 m

Radius r=0.400m

To find

Force F

Solution

As the force is repulsive because currents are in opposite direction

From repulsive force we know that:

F=\frac{u_{o}I_{1}I_{2}L}{2\pi r}

Substitute the given values

F=\frac{u_{o}(5.00A)(2.00A)(1.20m)}{2\pi (0.400m)}\\ F=6.00*10^{-6}N

Calculate the potential energy stored in a metal ball of a mass of 80 kg kept at a height of 15m from the earth surface.What wil
True [87]

Answer:

39200 joules

the potential energy will be zero

Explanation:

we know that potential energy is found by multiplying mass, acceleration due to gravity and height from the Earth's surface

so it will be

potential energy= mgh

80x9.8x15

= 39200 joules

the potential energy of the mental ball will be zero when kept on the Earth's surface because the height from the Earth's surface will be zero and zero multiplied to any number is zero only

I have a doubt with the second one, this is what I think it is. Consult your teacher if you think my answer for the second one is wrong
