Keaton is asked to solve the following physics problem:
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

The answer is C "think about the problem first, systematically consider all factors, and form a hypothesis"

Explanation:

In physics there is some basic fomula that sir Isacc Newton proposed under the topic of motion. The three formulas are below;

<em>1) v=u+at</em>

<em>2)v^2=u^2+2as</em>

<em>3)s=ut+(1/2)(at^2)</em>

the variables are explained below;

u= initial velocity of the body

a=acceleration/Speed of the body

t= time taken by the body while travelling

s= displacement of the body.

Therefore to solve keatons problem, the factors(variables) in the formulas above need to be systematically considered. Since the ball was dropped from the top of the building, the initial velocity is 0 because the body was at rest. Also the acceleration will be acceleration due to gravity (9.8m/s^2)

3.
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

1.92 m/s

Explanation:

Velocity is defined as the distance moved per unit time with consideration of the direction. The direction aspect differentiates speed from velocity since for speed, we don't need to consider the direction.

v=\frac {d}{t}

Distance moved for circular path is equal to its circumference and the circumference is given by 2\pi r where r is the radius and substituting 2\pi r for d then

v=\frac {2\pi r}{t}

Substituting 5.5 m for r and 18 s for t then

v=\frac {2\pi \times 5.5}{18}=1.919862177 m/s\approx 1.92 m/s

To the nearest hundredth, the velocity is 1.92 m/s

0.10-kilogram model rocket’s engine is designed to deliver an impulse of 6.0 newton-seconds. If the rocket engine burns for 0.75
UkoKoshka [18]

Answer:

8.0 N

Explanation:

Force: This can be defined as the mass of a body and its acceleration. The S.I unit of Force is Newton (N).

Mathematically, Fore is expressed as

F = ma ........................... equation 1

Where F = force, m = mass, a = acceleration.

and

I = mΔv

Δv = I/m ............................ Equation 2

Where I = impulse, m = mass, Δv = change in velocity

Given: I = 6.0 Newton-seconds, m = 0.1 kilogram.

Substituting into equation 2

Δv = 6.0/0.1

Δv = 60 m/s.

But

a = Δv/t

where t = time = 0.75 seconds.

a = 60/0.75

a = 80 m/s²

Substitute the values of a and m into equation 1.

F = 0.1(80)

F = 8.0 N.

Thus the average force produced = 8.0 N

53. A recently discovered planet has a mass four times as great as Earth's and a radius twice as large as Earth's. What will be
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

g' = g = 9.81 m/s^2

so gravity will be same as that of surface of earth

Explanation:

As we know that the acceleration due to gravity is given as

g = \frac{GM}{R^2}

here we have

M = 4M_e

R = 2R_e

we know that for earth we have

g = 9.81 = \frac{GM_e}{R_e^2}

now if the radius and mass is given as above

g' = \frac{G(4M_e)}{(2R_e)^2}

g' = \frac{GM_e}{R_e^2}

g' = g = 9.81 m/s^2

so gravity will be same as that of surface of earth

If a guitar string has a fundamental frequency of 500 hz, which one of the following frequencies can set the string into resonan
Sav [38]
I had to look for the options and here is my answer:

Given that a guitar string has a basic frequency of 500hz, the frequency that can be set for this into resonant vibration would be 1500 Hz. The resonant vibration here is necessary in musical instruments because it delivers a vibrating system which leads to a higher amplitude at a particular frequency.
