There are special trigonometric angle ratios for right triangles, which are sine (sin), cosine (cos), and tangent (tan). Sine is opposite over hypotenuse, cosine is adjacent over hypotenuse, and tangent is opposite over adjacent. You can remember this with SOHCAHTOA. S=sin, O=opposite, H=hypotenuse
The angle is given along with its adjacent side (1.2) and the hypotenuse (x). Use cosine. Cos(33) = adjacent/hypotenuse Cos(33) = 1.2/x x = 1.2 / cos(33)
