The answer for the following question is explained.

Therefore the number of electrons present with the values n = 5, l = 2, m = -2, s = +1/2 is one(1).

Explanation:

Here;

n represents the principal quantum number

l represents the Azimuthal quantum number

m represents magnetic quantum number

s represents spin quantum number

n = 5,

l = 2,

m = -2,

s = +1/2

Here, it implies 5d orbital.

In the 5d orbital, 10 electrons.

As the magnetic quantum number is -2, and so it can have 1 electron.

Therefore the number of electrons present with the values n = 5, l = 2, m = -2, s = +1/2 is one(1)

When it comes to physical changes like phase changes, there are two types of heat energy: sensible heat and latent heat. Sensible heat is the heat absorbed/released when you heat the substance but it doesn't change phase. An example would be heating lukewarm water. The substance is liquid all throughout. Latent heat, on the other hand, is the heat absorbed/released when there is a phase change. An example would be boiling water, because it changes liquid to vapor.

Hence, for freezing liquid, you use the latent heat, specifically the heat of fusion. The answer should be

2.5 g * (1 mol/18.02 g) * 6.03 kJ/mol = 0.84 kJ/mol

The answer is not in the choices. You only use Hvap if you boil water.

What happened to gas produces by the tablet when it reaches the top of the bottle?
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

it sank to the bottom and started dissolving and creating a gas (gas production is a sign that a chemical change is happening)!

Explanation:

As the gas bubbles rose, they carried some of the colored water with them. When the blob of water reached the top, the gas escaped and down went the water.
