Normally it’s the plasmodesmata that allows exchange of molecules between adjacent cells. But I’m still not sure if water is included!

Answer:

B. Plasmodesmata

Explanation:

Plasmododesms are small links between the cytoplasms of neighboring cells that act as channels for transferring molecules and substances such as water and nutrients between one cell and another that belong to the same domain and functional unit within an organism. Using this information, we can say that if a plant cell has lost a lot of water due to evaporation by the sun. You will need more water from other cells. Who will allow the transfer of water from neighboring cells to the one that needs water, are the plasmodesms.

Why do scientists classify a sponge as a simple animal and not a plant?
olganol [36]

sponges must get their food by "eating" organic matter in their environment; they do not make their own food like plants.

Use the following information to answer the question.
arsen [322]

The correct answer is option B.

This shows commensalistic relationship.

What is commensalism?

Commensalism is a biological relationship (symbiosis) in which individuals of one species profit, while those of the other species suffer neither advantages nor disadvantages.

This is in contrast to parasitism, which is related to parasitism in that the parasitoid has a free-living state and eventually kills its host rather than just damaging it, amensalism, where one is damaged while the other is unaffected, and parasitism, where one is harmed and the other benefits.

The host species, which is largely unharmed, may provide nourishment, shelter, support, or means of mobility for the commensal.

Which group of non-prokaryotic organisms studied in microbiology typically have two life cycle stages: trophozoite and cyst?
Mama L [17]

Non-prokaryotic organisms typically have two life cycle stages: trophozoite and cyst is Protozoa.

What is Protozoa?

 • Protozoa is a group of single celled, non- prokaryotic organisms.
 • These may either be free living or parasitic in nature.
 • These are heterotrophs and reproduce asexually by binary fission.
 • The Protozoa consists of many unrelated or loosely related organisms.
 • They are divided into four major groups: Sarcodina, Flagellates, Ciliates and Sporozoans..
 • Some protozoa consist of two phases in their life cycle: proliferative stage (trophozoites) and resting stage (cysts).
 • Trophozoites consists of the proliferative stage in which the protozoa divides and reproduces.
 • The resting cyst form helps the protozoa to survive harsh environmental conditions like harmful chemicals, extreme temperature and nutrient and water deficiency.
