Most income statements have the net income on them but if they don't you subtract all the expenses like taxes, medical insurances, etc. from the gross income and you will have the net income.

If an equation has two roots -4 and 7, what could be the<br> quadratic equation?
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

f(x) = x^2 - 3x - 28

Step-by-step explanation:

The root -4 corresponds to the factor (x + 4); the root 7 corresponds to (x - 7).  The equation is thus f(x) = (x + 4)(x - 7) = x^2 - 3x - 28, or

f(x) = x^2 - 3x - 28

Solve for y. x-4=y^2
Leya [2.2K]
X - 4 = y^2
Since you want y to the first power you have to take the square root of y^2.
If you take the square root of the right side you also must take the square root of the left side.
+ - sqrt (x-4) = y
y = sqrt (x - 4)
and y = - sqrt (x - 4)
