Brown eyes are the dominant human trait that the person acquired from either of their parents. The offspring receive half of their genes from the father and another half from the mother.

Further Explanation:

The color of the eye depends on the variation in the gene of the person’s. The genes that are responsible for eye color helps in the formation, transport, and storage of a melanin pigment. The color of the eye is directly proportional to the amount of melanin present in the front layer of the iris. The individual with a brown eye has a large quantity of melanin.

A specific region of the chromosome 15 plays a crucial role. The two genes present in the region helps in maturation and storage of melanin. These genes are OCA2 (P-protein) and HERC2. OCA2 helps in the maturation of the melanosomes that synthesis and store the melanin pigment. Therefore, the lesser the quantity of P-protein means the lesser quantity of melanin present in the iris.

HERC2 gene also known as intron 86 regulates the activity of the OCA2 gene. The polymorphism in this gene leads to a reduction in the expression of the OCA2 gene. It results in the production of less amount of melanin.

Select the correct answer. which sentence describes an object that has kinetic energy? a. a seagull sits on top of a fence post.
ololo11 [35]

" a boat sails across the ocean" possess Kinetic energy. hence option d is correct.

What is Kinetic energy?

 • Chemical energy, thermal energy, electromagnetic radiation, gravitational energy, electric energy, elastic energy, nuclear energy, and rest energy are only a few of the many different types of energy that exist. Potential energy and kinetic energy are the two basic categories that can be used to group them.
 • An object's kinetic energy is what drives its motion. Kinetic energy can be converted into other types of energy and transported between objects.
 • The energy an object has as a result of motion is known as kinetic energy in physics. It is described as the effort required to move a mass-determined body from rest to the indicated velocity. The body holds onto the kinetic energy it acquired during its acceleration until its speed changes.
