Andre and Noah each drew a triangle with side lengths of 5 cm and 3 cm and an angle that measures 60 degrees, and then they show

ed each other their drawings.
Did Andre and Noah draw different triangles? Explain your reasoning.

Explain what Andre and Noah would have to do to draw another triangle that is different from what either of them has already drawn.

If Andre and Noah included the 60° degree angle between different set of sides, they drew different triangles.

To draw another triangle different from what either of them has already drawn, they have to include the 60°angle between different sets of triangle sides.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given side length1=5 cm

Side length2=3cm

Angle=60°

The problem doesn't mention that the 60° angle should be between the two give sides.

Hence Andre and Noah can represent 60° angle between 5 cm and 3cm sides or between 5cm and third side or between 3 cm and third side.

Thus the triangles drawn will be different if the angle is included between different sets of sides.

To draw a triangle that is different from hat either of them has drawn earlier, they have to change the 60° angle into a different set of sides.

What are the next two numbers in this pattern?
disa [49]
The answer is A. 243, -729

The pattern of this is that they multiply each number by -3.

3*-3=-9
-9*-3=26
27*-3=-81

So you have to multiply -81 by -3. Then multiply that by -3 to get the second number

-81*-3=243
243*-3=-729

I can answer the slopes

Answer:

1. would have a slope of 2

2. would have a slope of -1.66

3.would have a slope of 0

4. would have a slope of -13

Step-by-step explanation:

(Y2 - Y1) / (X2 -X1)

1. (9-5) / (4-2) = 4 / 2 =2

2. (-5-5) / (3 - -3) = -10 / 6 = 1.66

3. (2 - 2) / (5 - -4) = 0 / 9 = 0

4. (-7 - 6) / (3 - 3) = -13 / 0 = -13

Using the discriminant, describe the nature of the roots for the equation
49x^2 − 28x + 4 = 0.
scZoUnD [109]

Answer:

Put the equation in standard form by bringing the 4x + 1 to the left side.

7x2 - 4x - 1 = 0

We use the discriminant to determine the nature of the roots of a quadratic equation. The discriminant is the expression underneath the radical in the quadratic formula: b2 - 4ac.

b2 - 4ac In this case, a = 7, b = -4, and c = -1

(-4)2 - 4(7)(-1)

16 + 28 = 44

Now here are the rules for determining the nature of the roots:

(1) If the discriminant = 0, then there is one real root (this omits the ± from the quadratic formula, leaving only one possible solution)

(2) If the discriminant > 0, then there are two real roots (this keeps the ±, giving you two solutions)

(3) If the discriminant < 0, then there are two imaginary roots (this means there is a negative under the radical, making the solutions imaginary)

44 > 0, so there are two real roots
