What is nine? Huhhhhhhhhhhh?
grigory [225]

Step-by-step explanation: The base of the power in the original equation becomes the base of the log. So we have ^{log}3.

Next, the exponent in the original equation goes on the other side of the equation and finally, the result in the original equation goes inside the log.

So we have ^{log} 3 9 = 2 which is 3² = 9 written in logarithmic form.

This can also be switched around to read 2 = ^{log} 3 = 9.

So the first choice will be your answer.

My work is also show in the image attached,

I just didn't switch it.

Kamila [148]

Answer:

<h2>Less than 0.84</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Convert all numbers to decimals
  • 85% --> 0.85
  • 0.88 --> 0.88
  • 21/25 --> 0.84

Since these are the top three, the rest of the competitors are less than 0.84.

Martin and Alexia are rock climbing each person's rate stays the same for the first hour they climb mountain climbers 3 1/3 mete
Minchanka [31]

1. If Martin climbs 3 1/3 meters in the first one 1/6 hour, then he climbs

3\dfrac{1}{3}\cdot 6=\dfrac{10}{3}\cdot 6=20 meters per hour. Then, option A is correct and options C and E are false.

2. If Alexia climbs 17 1/2 in the first 5/6 hour, then she climbs

17\dfrac{1}{2}\cdot \dfrac{6}{5}=\dfrac{35}{2}\cdot \dfrac{6}{5}=21 meters per hour and it takes Alexia \dfrac{1}{21} of an hour to climb 1 meter. Then options B and D are correct and option F is false.

Answer: correct options are A, B and D.

An electronic device factory is studying the length of life of the electronic components they produced. The manager selects two
Temka [501]

Answer:

The confidence interval will be given by:

200000 \pm 44.72z, in which z is related to the confidence level.

For a confidence level of x%, z is the value in the z-table that has a pvalue of 1 - \frac{1 - z}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Central Limit Theorem

The Central Limit Theorem estabilishes that, for a normally distributed random variable X, with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the sampling distribution of the sample means with size n can be approximated to a normal distribution with mean \mu and standard deviation s = \frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}.

For a skewed variable, the Central Limit Theorem can also be applied, as long as n is at least 30.

In the context of this problems:

It means that the sampling distributions of the sample mean of 500 components will be approximated normal, with mean 200,000 and standard deviation s = \frac{1000}{\sqrt{500}} = 44.72

To build the confidence interval:

The confidence interval for the average length of life of the electronic components they produced will be given by:

200000 \pm 44.72z, in which z is related to the confidence level.

For a confidence level of x%, z is the value in the z-table that has a pvalue of 1 - \frac{1 - z}{2}
