Answer:

\frac{27}{4} ,  \frac{9}{4} , 1\frac{7}{4}.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given  : 6\frac{3}{4} ,  2\frac{1}{4} and  1\frac{3}{4}.

To find : What is the reciprocal of each mixed number.

Solution : We have given  6\frac{3}{4} ,  2\frac{1}{4} and  1\frac{3}{4}.

First we convert the mixed fraction in to improper fraction :

For  6\frac{3}{4} =  \frac{27}{4}

Reciprocal : when the numerator change into denominator and denominator change in to numerator.

So, Reciprocal of \frac{27}{4} is \frac{4}{27}.

For  2\frac{1}{4} =  \frac{9}{4}

Reciprocal of  \frac{9}{4}  =  \frac{4}{9} .

For 1\frac{3}{4} =1\frac{7}{4}.

Reciprocal of 1\frac{7}{4} is 1\frac{4}{7}.

Therefore,  \frac{27}{4} ,  \frac{9}{4} , 1\frac{7}{4}.

The given line passes through the points (0, −3) and (2, 3).
Alex Ar [27]
Well, parallel lines have the same exact slope, so hmmm what's the slope of the one that runs through <span>(0, −3) and (2, 3)?

</span>\bf \begin{array}{ccccccccc}&#10;&&x_1&&y_1&&x_2&&y_2\\&#10;%  (a,b)&#10;&&(~ 0 &,& -3~) &#10;%  (c,d)&#10;&&(~ 2 &,& 3~)&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;% slope  = m&#10;slope =  m\implies &#10;\cfrac{\stackrel{rise}{ y_2- y_1}}{\stackrel{run}{ x_2- x_1}}\implies \cfrac{3-(-3)}{2-0}\implies \cfrac{3+3}{2-0}\implies 3
<span>
so, we're really looking for a line whose slope is 3, and runs through -1, -1

</span>\bf \begin{array}{ccccccccc}&#10;&&x_1&&y_1\\&#10;%  (a,b)&#10;&&(~ -1 &,& -1~)&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;% slope  = m&#10;slope =  m\implies 3&#10;\\\\\\&#10;% point-slope intercept&#10;\stackrel{\textit{point-slope form}}{y- y_1= m(x- x_1)}\implies y-(-1)=3[x-(-1)]&#10;\\\\\\&#10;y+1=3(x+1)<span>
</span>
