Answer:

As slit separation (d) is increased, angle of first diffraction minimum will remains same.

As slit separation (d) is increased, angle to the first interference maximum is decrease

Explanation:

Given:

From the formula of interference and diffraction,

⇒ For diffraction,

  a \sin \theta = m \lambda

Where a = width of slit, m = 1,2,3 ....

  \sin \theta = \frac{m \lambda}{a}

⇒ For interference,

   d \sin \theta = n \lambda

Where d = distance between two slit, n = 0,1,2,3 ......

    \sin \theta = \frac{n \lambda}{d}

As slit separation (d) is increased, angle of first diffraction minimum will remains same.

As slit separation (d) is increased, angle to the first interference maximum is decrease

An atom emits a light wave with a wavelength of 449 nm. what type or color of light does this represent?
Vinvika [58]
The visible spectrum ranges from 390 nm to 700 nm. the visible spectrum consist of the red ( 620 - 750 nm ) , orange ( 590 - 620 nm ) , yellow ( 570 - 590 nm ) , green ( 495 - 570 nm ) , blue ( 450 - 495 nm ) and violet ( 380 - 450 nm ) so the wave length 449 nm will produce a violet color

A rubber ball is dropped and bounces vertically from a horizontal concrete floor. If the ball has a speed of 3 m/s just before s
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

F=12.5N

Explanation:

Net force = rate of change of momentum

F = m*a

so find the change of momentum P

Pdown

P=m*v_1=0.42kg*3m/s

Pup

P=m*v_1=0.42kg*6.5m/s

dP = change in P

dP= 0.42kg (3- -.6.5)m/s =3.99 kg m/s

dT = 0.32 s

so

F = \frac{dP}{dt}=\frac{3.99Kg*m/s}{0.32s} =12.468 N
