Okie, so, each cm that measures across the pond is equivalent to 2ft
1cm=2ft
so if we have 3 cm
we would do 3x2
3x2=6

The diameter of the pond is 6 ft<span />

We cannot still solve the problem, we would need the length of the sides.

A pattern of rectangles is formed by decreasing the length and increasing the width, each by the same amount. The relationship b
Arte-miy333 [17]
Although the graph is not given in the option, so I would consider it from a different graph with the same question. The graph that represents the area of each rectangle in terms of the change in the length and width is the one with coordinate points located on the grid. The coordinate points on the form of (x,y) are represented as:

1. (0,40)
2. (1,45)
3. (2,47)
4. (8,25)

Hence,The graph with these coordinate points will be representing the situation.

What is x when f(x)=1? (This means determine the input that gives an output of 1.)
Harrizon [31]

Answer:

0 or undefined

Step-by-step explanation:

As you said, it could be anything, and there is proof that could be anything, which I'm sure your teacher would appreciate (writing proofs is a level of mathematical achievement that only hardcore math nerds can do, and it'd be super cool if you could write one yourself) A proof is basically a written mathematical description of exactly why something is the way it is.

But if you want to choose just one answer, I'd choose either 0 or undefined. If the answer is something that's bubbled in, then choose 0.

In the simplest assumed equation f(x) = 1 + x, x would have to = 0.

If we're looking at this graphically, y=1 (remember y=f(x)) graphed is a straight line that never crosses the x axis, which would mean there's no possible x value that would work for that equation.

Also, depending on what level math you're in, you may not even be working with undefined answers yet, in which case, your best answer would again be 0.

Hope this helped!

What is the first term of the sequence below? ___1, 5,25,125
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

The first term of the sequence is 1/5

Step-by-step explanation:

The first term is 1/5.

The reason is that there is a common ratio between each term. In this case multiplying the previous term in the sequence by 5 would give the next term.

So in this case 1/5 is the first term.

If we multiply 1/5 by 5, it will give the next term which is 1.

1/5*5=1

Thus the first term in the sequence = 1/5....
