After fighting in the Seven Years' War and the American Revolution, the French government of Louis XVI was deeply in debt. The nobility and the clergy rejected proposals to increase royal revenue that would force them to begin paying taxes. This did not sit well with the commoners, who would have to bear the financial burden despite having only a restricted role in the formation of policy. Inspired by Enlightenment philosophies that emphasized the equality of all people, these commoners formed their own legislative body, earning the support of the poor who were discontent with the king's response to rising food prices.i hope this well help u in your time of need! :)

Honestly, the biggest reason was probably from the disagreements that the common folk had with providing funds to the Americans when they had their war. Also some of the revolutionary movements in America at the time of their Independence war from Britain inspired French civilians into throwing one themselves.

What were the Articles of Confederation, and why did the Constitution eventually replace the articles.
Jlenok [28]

Explanation:

The articles of confederation was the first form of government in the United States.

However, it was weak because the people were afraid of tyranny. It had only one branch, Congress, hence, it had no executive or president to enforce the laws. The federal government was weak and had no power to pass taxes.

55 delegates met in Philadelphia to revive the A.O.C, however, they decided to create a whole new form of government. The constitution eventually replaced the A.O.C because it provided a stronger federal government, an executive, 3 branches, and also principles that would make sure no branch has too much power.
