The way to solve the question is:

Depth = Volume/ (Width x Length)

Volume = Depth x Length x Width

=> Volume = 12 x 15 x 5

=> Volume = 12 x 75

=> Volume = 900

Depth= 900 / (Width x Length)

=> Depth = 900/ 5 x 15

=> Depth = 900/75

=> Depth = 12

Answer= 4 cm

Volume of cuboid= 600cm3
Volume of milk= 8*5*12= 480cm3

Orange side facing down base area = 8*15= 120
480/120= 4 cm
