Hey there! I'm happy to help!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT IS THE PERIMETER?

The perimeter is just the distance around a shape. If you put a fence around a field, the length of all of the fencing is the perimeter.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT IS AN ISOSCELES TRIANGLE?

An isosceles triangle is a triangle that has at least two sides that have the same length! In our triangle, we have two sides that have the value of a, so that makes it isosceles!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

THE SOLUTION

In our problem, we want to find the perimeter of this triangle in terms of a and c. When we say in terms of, it just means that our answer will include a and c instead of finding a number value.

The perimeter is the sum of each of these sides. This means that the perimeter is a+a+c, which is also 2a+c.

Therefore, the perimeter of this isosceles triangle is 2a+c.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope that this helps! Have a wonderful day! :D

sertanlavr [38]

Answer:

The probability that sample mean differ the true greater than 2.1 will be 2.8070 %

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Sample mean =46 dollars

standard deviation=8

n=53

To Find :

Probability that sample mean would differ from true mean by greater than 2.1

Solution;

This sample distribution mean problem,

so for that

calculate Z- value

Z=(sample mean - true mean)/(standard deviation/Sqrt(n))

Z=-2.1/(8/Sqrt(53))

Z=-2.1*Sqrt(53)/8

Z=-1.91102

Now for P(X≥2.1)=P(Z≥-1.91102)

Using Z-table,

For Z=-1.91

P(X>2.1)=0.02807

In a class of all girls, 22 of the 28 students have brown hair. What is the
Verdich [7]

Answer:

\frac{3}{14}

Step-by-step explanation:

Total Students = 28

Brown Hair = 22

NOT Brown Hair = 28 - 22 = 6

The probability of an event is the number of that event divided by total number.

So, let denote probability of without brown hair be P(NOT BROWN). So, we can say:

P(NOT BROWN) = 6/28

Reducing, we get:

P(NOT BROWN) = 3/14

Goryan [66]

Answer:

It would have to be (C) 50.27 because 25 is too short for a diameter of 8 seeing it would be 8x4 to get 32 in which 25 is not long enough for. So the answer is C.
