On a cube there are 6 sides with the numbers: 1,2,3,4,5,6.

so probability of 1 role to get a 4 would be 1/6

The probability of getting a 4 on 240 roles would be 40 times because:

1/6=x/240

240=6x

divide by 6

40 is final answer

The volume of a sphere is 29307 cubic centimeters. What is the radius of the sphere?
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

19 cubic centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation for the volume of a sphere is (4/3)\pi r^3.

We can setup the equation as 29307 = \frac{4}{3}\pi r^3.

Now we need to isolate the r^3.  Divide both sides by 4/3 and pi, which leaves \frac{29307}{(4/3) \pi } =r^3

Now we take the cube root of both sides to have a single r on the right side.  This comes out to equal 19 cm^3

Find b, given that a = 20, angle A = 30°, and angle B = 45° in triangle ABC
Kamila [148]
<span>The side b is opposite to the angle B, applying the law of the sines, we have:

</span>\frac{a}{sinA} = \frac{b}{sinB}
\frac{20}{sin30^0} = \frac{b}{sin45^0}
\frac{20}{ \frac{1}{2} } = \frac{b}{ \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{2} }
20* \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{2}  = b* \frac{1}{2}
\frac{20 \sqrt{2} }{2} = \frac{b}{2}
2*b =2*20 \sqrt{2}
2b = 40 \sqrt{2}
b =  \frac{40 \sqrt{2} }{2}
\boxed{b = 20 \sqrt{2} }
