What is the black death?

History

The Black Death is widely believed to have been the result of plague, caused by infection with the bacterium Yersinia pestis. Modern genetic analyses indicate that the strain of Y. pestis introduced during the Black Death is ancestral to all extant circulating Y. pestis strains known to cause disease in humans. Hence, the origin of modern plague epidemics lies in the medieval period. Other scientific evidence has indicated that the Black Death may have been viral in origin. (britannica.com)

Answer: That would depend on a person's beliefs

Explanation:

To be point of fact the black plague was mostly the reason the European population died. how it was spread no one knows for sure some believe it was the air (doctors used to wear masks that looked like the face of a bird, they believed it protected them), some believe it was the fleas on the black rats.

the Black plague actually inspired the image of death, whenever you see the scathe Death is holding, that symbolized the black plague. was placed there by the church if I remember correctly and it was inspired by how the farmers cut the grains during that time. the lives of people during that plague were "cut" very easily (it might have been due to the fact they only took a shower once a year and were not exactly very knowledgeable about how bacteria spreads).

Not only were the people knowledgably in the dark during that time but also literally. there is actual scientifically proven of the people during the dark ages not being able to see the sun, the reason for that was because a volcano somewhere in the ocean (can't remember where) erupted. the explosion was so big that it sent ash into the atmosphere causing the sun to be covered.

So literally they were in the dark not from just knowledge but also from the lack of sun.

I think that the lack of knowledge of bacteria, the lack of sun light and the lack of bathing caused the Black plague to affect so many people because already their immune systems were affected.

what were the causes of the hundred year war and what were the result of the war in the fourteenth century for france and englan
ipn [44]

Answer: King Philip of France died without an heir and his closest relative was King Edward III of England, so King Edward III was to become the new King of France but the French didn't want to be under English rule so they said that Edwards III's claims to the French throne were invalid, the result was a series of conflicts lasting 116 years between England and France and the conflict ending at the Battle of Castillon, 1453 after which England lost all of it's holdings in France, except Calais.

In one- to two-paragraph response, explain how the Nazis and the Khmer Rouge each other to power
kvv77 [185]
Hitler published the best book I have ever read, "Mein Kampf" and rose to power because of his struggles through his journey in Germany. The people took hold to his prowess as an amazing author and nominated him chancellor in honor of him. Although the disgusting Allied powers tried killed him when he tried to liberate the other countries of their freedom. A sad story that ends with the victors lying and making up lies to try to besmirch his image. He truly did nothing wrong.

This would be "lobbies" - and the single people in those groups are known as lobbyists. For example, tobacco lobbyists would lobby in favour of not limiting where smoking is permitted.
