Do you think changing your habits can make a big impact on Earth? Why or why not

Answer:

Changing habits can be hard. Trying to change more than one habit at once or make too big a change at once sets you up to fail. Not good. So do it one step, one habit, at a time. For instance, if you want to get fit, start with a 15 minute walk three days a week. Make it double and then ramp up as you go along. And we can choose different actions for the Earth, like cloth pads last for years, helping you reduce your impact on the environment and saving you from monthly trips to the store.

Liquefied Natural Gas

Explanation:

Gases are usually liquefied in the downstream sector during crude processing. These natural gases are products of distillation of crude oil in fractionating columns. Some of them are also found in geological formations.

  • To easily transport these gases, they are liquefied in vessels that carries them from one place to another.
  • Liquefaction is the process of converting a gas or solid into a liquid form.
  • Gases are usually compressed under very high pressure into vessels through which can make them easier to transport.
  • Gases do not have a fixed volume and they typically assume the volume of any container they are taken into.

If 146.5 g of chromium(lll) chlorate decomposes, what mass of oxygen can be produced?
Vinil7 [7]

Answer:

The Equation for this reaction is as follow,

                               2 Cr(ClO₃)₃    →    2 CrCl₃  +  9 O₂

According to eq,

      604.68 g (2mole) of Cr(ClO₃)₃ produces  =  288 g (9 moles) of O₂

So,

                 146.5 g of Cr(ClO₃)₃ will produce  =  X g of O₂

Solving for X,

                             X  = (146.5 g × 288 g) ÷ 604.68 g

                    X  =  69.77 g of O₂
