I just had the most remarkable experience when I read your question ... a formula popped into my head that I haven't used or even thought about in years ! It's the formula for the charge on a capacitor in terms of the voltage across it:

Q = C · V

Charge = (capacitance) · (voltage)

This is exactly what we need in order to answer this question !

For a graph of charge vs voltage (which we have here !), that formula Q=CV is in slope-intercept form, and it says that the capacitance is the slope of the graph. How awesomely convenient !

The slope of the whole blue line on this graph is

Slope = (0.025 Coulomb) / (50 volts)

Slope = 0.0005

Capacitance = 0.0005 Farad or Capacitance = 500 microfarads

A 6.00 A current runs through a 12-gauge copper wire (diameter 2.05 mm) and through a light bulb. Copper has 8.5×1028 free elect
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Current, I = 6 A

diameter of wire, d = 2.05 mm

number of electrons per unit volume, n = 8.5 x 10^28

If the diameter is doubled,

The resistance of the wire is inversely proportional to the square of the diameter of the wire, so the resistance is one forth an the current is directly proportional to the diameter of the wire so the current is four times the initial value.

What is electrons ? explain it function

Neko [114]

Answer:

The electron is a subatomic particle, symbol e⁻ or β⁻ , whose electric charge is negative one elementary charge. Electrons belong to the first generation of the lepton particle family, and are generally thought to be elementary particles because they have no known components or substructure

Explanation:

functions of electrons

and electrons being the negatively charged particles of atom. Together, all of the electrons of an atom create a negative charge that balances the positive charge of the protons in the atomic nucleus
