What types of acute and long-term healthcare services are available in your community? Are there gaps in the types of care servi
kherson [118]

Answer:

Explanation:

Acute healthcare services serves the patient for short term treatment for a particular severe injury. These services are useful in cases of urgent medical condition, treatment of curable illness, or to recovery patient gone through with surgery.

Long-term healthcare services helps to cure the long term diseases, and provides long term hospitality.

In my community there is one government dispensary which can provide the acute healthcare services. Also there are many private self finance hospitals which can provide long-term healthcare services.

Yes, there are gaps in the services provided by these two services. Like dispensary can only give short term treatment for curable disease, and cannot keep patients for long as nursing facility is not available.

If the proper medical services are not available to a community the occurrence of a disease and it's spread will increase in the population. The mortality rate may increase in the population.
