3 0

Answer:

A) 4, 3, 2, -1, -6, -8

B) 9, 4, 3, 1, -6, -8

C) 11, 7, 5, 2, -4, -9

Step-by-step explanation:

So the word descending means going down, so essentially you are starting out with the largest integer and counting down. Of course, the positive integers goes first, then the negative. However for example you might think that -8 is a larger integer than -6 , but it is NOT. Because negatives are different than positives.

Using the diagram below, find x.
Alona [7]

Answer:

x=28

Step-by-step explanation:

we~know~ that~ all~ the~ angles ~in ~a ~triangle ~all~add ~up ~to ~180° That ~means: x + ( 2x + 5 ) + ( 3x + 7 ) = 180.~Since~ addition~ is~ associative,\\~x + ( 2x + 5 ) + ( 3x + 7 ) = 180~ is ~the~ same ~as~ x + 2x + 5 + 3x + 7 = 180.

Combining~ like~ terms,~ we ~get: 6x + 12 = 180.

After~ we ~move~ 12~ to~ the~ other~ side~ so ~the~ x~ is~ iscolated,~ we~ get:\\\ 6x = 168.\\

Dividing~ each~ side~ by~ 6 ~gets~ us ~to~: x = 28, ~so ~the~ answer~ to~ this~ question~ is D.\\

Hope~this~helps!~Have~a~blessed~day~ahead!

Which is the equation of a line that is perpendicular to 8x + 6y = –5?
IrinaVladis [17]

The perpendicular line will have an equation of y=3/4x-3/4

To find this, we first have to solve our equation for slope intercept form.

8x + 6y = -5 ----> subtract 8x

6y = -8x + -5 ----> divide by 6

y = -4/3x - 5/6.

So we know the slope of this equation to be -4/3. Since perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes, we know we can simply flip the fraction and make it a negative to get the new slope of 3/4. Since B is the only option with that slope, we know it to be the correct answer.
