<em>I'm not sure what KO means, so I'll diregard that for now. </em>

<u>How do we figure out the range of a data set?</u>

<em>The rules state we must find the difference between the smallest and largest numbers in the data set.</em>

<u>Let's organize the numbers, least to greatest.</u>

(3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 12, 15)

<u>Because we organized this from least to greatest, all we need to do is subtract the first number from the last number:</u>

15 - 3 = 12

<em>That means...</em>

The range of the data set is 12!

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

The given equation is:

y = -2x + 5………………(i)

Comparing the equation with y = mx+c, we get;

m1 = -2

Also another equation of the line which passes through point (-4,2), we get;

(y-2) = m2(X+4)............(ii) { using the formula (y-y1) = m2(x-x2)}

According to the question, they are perpendicular to eachother, So according to the condition of perpendicular lines;

m1*m2 = -1

-2*m2 = -1

or, m2 = 1/2.

Therefore, m2= 1/2.

Now, keeping the value of m2 in equation (ii).

(y-2) = 1/2(x+4)

y = (1/2)x + 4

Therefore, the required equation is: y = (1/2)x + 4.

What is the margin of error for a sample statistic for a population with a standard deviation of 7.75?
3241004551 [841]

Answer:

Margin of Error  = 1.96 \times 7.75 = 15.19

Step-by-step explanation:

i) Margin of Error of a population with a standard deviation of 7.75?

ii) Let us assume a two tailed test with a 95% confidence interval

iii) Z_{\frac{\alpha }{2} }  = Z_{\frac{\ 0.05 }{2} } = Z_{0.025} = 1.96

iv) therefore Margin of Error  = 1.96 \times 7.75 = 15.19
