A star can be determined by its mass. The longer or bigger mass the shorter the life of the star.

Explanation:

A star's life depends on the mass of the star. The mass depends on the matter of nebula. The nebula is a giant cloud that is made up of gas and particles that are responsible for the birth of a star.

As time passes the hydrogen gas is pulled in the cloud by the gravity and it starts to spin at its center around. It gets start heat and becomes the protostar.

The hydrogen presentation starts to convert into helium with the help of nuclear fusion. These explosions make the creation and to give the birth to star by a process.
