The correct answer is A) we find ourselves in an information bubble

What occurs when we customize our personal social media i. such a say that it only reinforces what we already think, is that we find ourselves in an information bubble.

If we decided to customize our preferences in social media, we only receive that kind of information that only appeals to what we like. The information that we receive is "circular," which means it constantly repeats the same thing and we limit ourselves to what we like, instead of being open to information that is different that could open to new knowledge. Furthermore, new information makes us think, reflect, and consider new options that could be interesting to know.

Determine whether each of the following arguments is a deductive argument or an inductive argument. If the argument is a deducti
kykrilka [37]

Answer:

1. Inductive argument.

2. Inductive argument.

3. Deductve argument.

Explanation:

1. This argument is inductive. The conclusion is a generalization, that is drawn by a premise, the premise has been obtained out of experimentation.

If two grains of sand have diamons, it doesn´t mean the entire beach is made of them. This argument is not strong because the conclusion is not accurate.

2. This is a deductive argument. This type of argument depends on the logic struture of it. If the premise were to be true, the conclusion would be true also.

It is not a sound argument, because thanksgiving happends every fourth thursday of november. It is an invalid argument because the premise is false, there for the concusion is false.

3. This is an invalid deductive argument. The premise is incorrect, so the conclusion that is being deduce from it is also wrong. It is not a sound argument because if you double the length of the sides of a square, the area would quatriple.

Gabe was essentially fluent in French in elementary school when he lived in Canada, but then moved away until he got a job offer
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

This is an example of recall.

Explanation:

Recalling is the action of bringing information back from the long-term memory, which has been previously stored.

Once information is stored in this type of memory, it won't be forgotten with ease and can be accessible by cues, for example.

Since Gabe was still in elementary school when he learnt French, it was easier for him to retain this information. Now, once he heads to Paris and listens to French again, it is easier for him to access the previously learnt information since the language itself provided him with the cues he needed to do so.
