AB = 4.5

Step-by-step explanation:

We can cross multiply the sides in order to find the length of AB. Make sure you don't go diagonal, so you can't do 3/6. You can do 3/4 and 3/x, then match it to the same pattern.

This is the one I chose...

\frac{4}{3} =\frac{6}{x}

Notice how I put them in the same order.

Now we can cross multiply...

4*x

= 4x

6*3

= 18

4x=18

Divide by 4.

x = 4.5

The length of <u><em>AB is 4.5</em></u>.

Rewrite the following exponential expressions as equivalent radical expressions. If the number is rational, write it without rad
alina1380 [7]

Answer:

1/32

Step-by-step explanation:

simplify

1/[(2×2×2)^⅓]^5

= [1/(2³)^⅓]^5

= [1/2]^5

= [1/(2×2×2×2×2)]

= [1/32]

The area of a square room is 16x^2+72x+81. what is the length of one side of the room
maxonik [38]
To find this you know that the A of a square = s^2

So the length of one side equals s =  \sqrt{16 x^{2} +72x+81}

Since this is a perfect square, it would equal A = (4x+9)^{2}

And s =  \sqrt{(4x+9)^{2}} = 4x+9

Also you know it is a perfect square because the first and last terms are perfect squares :) :D
