Answer:3.54ohms

Explanation: connection in parallel

1/Rt= 1/R1+1/R2+1/R3

1/Rt= 1/16+1/13+1/7

1/Rt= 91+112+208/1456

1/Rt= 411/1456

411Rt= 1456

Rt= 1456/411

Rt= 3.54ohms

Which of these objects are malleable? Check all that apply.
g100num [7]

Answer:

The tin fork and knife, the copper coin, and the steel fence pole.

Explanation:

Those are both what people would call soft metals so they are malleable to the extent of probably not needing heavy duty equipment. It depends on you description of malleable because the steel fence pole could be malleable with the correct equipment and not snap in half if bent slowly enough.

The definition of malleable: (of a metal or other material) able to be hammered or pressed permanently out of shape without breaking or cracking.

But the glass table, marble sculpture and antique ceramic vase are nowhere near malleable because if you tried bending them they wouldn't bend but would shatter and break into pieces.

A factory emits pollutants at a rate of 25 g/s. The factory is located between two mountain ranges resulting in an effective val
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

1.25\ \mu\text{g/m}^3

Explanation:

v = Velocity of the breeze = 4 m/s

w = Width of the valley = 5000 m

h = Height of the valley = 1000 m

Volumetric flow rate is given by

\dot{V}=vwh\\\Rightarrow \dot{V}=4\times 5000\times 1000\\\Rightarrow \dot{V}=2\times10^{7}\ \text{m}^3/\text{s}

\dot{m} = Mass flow rate of pollutant = 25 g/s = 25\times 10^6\ \mu\text{g/s}

Concentration is given by

C=\dfrac{\dot{m}}{\dot{V}}\\\Rightarrow C=\dfrac{25\times 10^6}{2\times 10^7}\\\Rightarrow C=1.25\ \mu\text{g/m}^3

The steady state concentration of pollutants in the valley, is 1.25\ \mu\text{g/m}^3.

Ahat [919]

The question is incomplete. The complete question is :

Two loudspeakers are placed 1.8 m apart. They play tones of equal frequency. If you stand 3.0 m in front of the speakers, and exactly between them, you hear a minimum of intensity. As you walk parallel to the plane of the speakers, staying 3.0 m away, the sound intensity increases until reaching a maximum when you are directly in front of one of the speakers. The speed of sound in the room is 340 m/s.

What is the frequency of the sound?

Solution :

Given :

The distance between the two loud speakers, d = 1.8 \ m

The speaker are in phase and so the path difference is zero constructive interference occurs.

At the point D, the speakers are out of phase and so the path difference is $=\frac{\lambda}{2}$

Therefore,

$AD-BD = \frac{\lambda}{2}

$\sqrt{(1.8)^2+(3)^2-3} =\frac{\lambda}{2}$

$\lambda = 2 \times 0.4985$

$\lambda = 0.99714 \ m$

Thus the frequency is :

$f=\frac{v}{\lambda}$

$f=\frac{340}{0.99714}$

f=340.9744 Hz
