Which statement about intellectual property is true? (CSI-7.6) Group of answer choices It is okay to use code you find on the in
nika2105 [10]

Answer:

Laws are in place to cover your creative work, which includes code you have written.

Explanation:

Copyright law can be defined as a set of formal rules granted by a government to protect an intellectual property by giving the owner an exclusive right to use while preventing any unauthorized access, use or duplication by others.

A copyright can be defined as an exclusive legal right granted to the owner of a creative work (intellectual property) to perform, print, record, and publish his or her work. Also, the owner is granted the sole right to authorize any other person to use the creative work.

For instance, copyright law which protects the sharing and downloading rights of music is known as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

An intellectual property can be defined as an intangible and innovative creation of the mind that solely depends on human intellect.

Simply stated, an intellectual property is an intangible creation of the human mind, ideas, thoughts or intelligence. They include intellectual and artistic creations such as name, symbol, literary work, songs, graphic design, computer codes, inventions, etc.

Hence, laws are in place to cover a person's creative work, and it includes code he or she have written.

Ideally, how often should you back up the data on your computer? once an hour once a day once a month once a year
AleksAgata [21]
It really depends on your type of data, if it's sensitive data or not. And it also depends on what type of backup (Incremental, Decremental, etc.). But you should aim to backup at least once a week, and also do a backup of your original backup.

1) Create a recursive program that prompts the user for a nonnegative integer N and outputs. a) Sum [N] b) BiPower [N] c) TimesF
Georgia [21]

Answer:

//Code is created using java

import java.util.*;

// returns the sum

public int sum(int N)

{

if(N==1)

return (1);

else

return N+sum(N-1);

}

// code to return the Bipower ouput

public int BiPower(int N)

{

if(N==1)

return (2);

else

return 2*BiPower(N-1);

}

// Code to return TimesFive output

public int TimesFive(int N)

{

if(N==1)

return 5;

else

return 5 + timesFive(N-1);

}

public static void main(String args[])

   {

//Prompts the user to enter a nonnegative integer

       int N  = Integer.parseInt.(console.readLine("Enter a nonnegative integer:  "));

//Outputs the sum, Bipower and TimesFive

       System.out.println(sum(n));

       System.out.println(BiPower(n));

       System.out.println(TimesFive(n));

   }

A variable like userNum can store a value like an integer. Extend the given program to print userNum values as indicated.(1) Out
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

The program in Java is as follows:

import java.util.*;

public class Main{

public static void main(String[] args) {

 int userNum;

 Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in);

 System.out.print("Enter integer: ");

 userNum = input.nextInt();

 System.out.println("You entered "+userNum);

 System.out.println(userNum+" squared is "+(userNum*userNum));

 System.out.println(userNum+" cubed is "+(userNum*userNum*userNum));

 int userNum2;

 System.out.print("Enter another integer: ");

 userNum2 = input.nextInt();

 int sum= userNum + userNum2; int product = userNum2 * userNum;

 System.out.println(userNum+" + "+userNum2+" = "+sum);

 System.out.println(userNum+" * "+userNum2+" = "+product); } }

Explanation:

This declares userNum

 int userNum;

 Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in);

This prompts the user for input

 System.out.print("Enter integer: ");

This gets user input from the user

 userNum = input.nextInt();

Number (1) is implemented here

 System.out.println("You entered "+userNum);

Number (2) is implemented here

 System.out.println(userNum+" squared is "+(userNum*userNum));

 System.out.println(userNum+" cubed is "+(userNum*userNum*userNum));

This declares another variable userNum2

 int userNum2;

This prompts the user for another input

 System.out.print("Enter another integer: ");

This gets user input from the user

 userNum2 = input.nextInt();

This calculates the sum and the product

 int sum= userNum + userNum2; int product = userNum2 * userNum;

Number (3) is implemented here

 System.out.println(userNum+" + "+userNum2+" = "+sum);

 System.out.println(userNum+" * "+userNum2+" = "+product);
