So you Numerator is going to be which one you are looking for(in this case green )

So far we have 7/nothing...

So to find the denominator you would add up all your choices (7+5+6=18)

Your answer is 7/18.

Hope this helps and its worth brainliest!

Given the following equation of the hyperbola, what are the x-values of the vertices? x^2/4 - y^2/49 = 1 is it 2 and -2?
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

  yes, ±2

Step-by-step explanation:

The x-intercepts are found by setting y=0 and solving for x:

  x^2/4 = 1

  x^2 = 4

  x = ±√4

  x = ±2

The x-values of interest are -2 and +2.

10. Make q the subject of the formula 5(q + p) = 4 + 8p
vichka [17]

The formula subject to q is \frac{4+3p}{5}

Explanation:

The given formula is 5(q+p)=4+8 p

We need to determine the formula subject to q.

<u>The formula subject to q:</u>

The formula subject to q can be determined by solving the formula for q.

Let us solve the formula.

Thus, we have;

5q+5p=4+8p

Subtracting both sides by 5p, we have;

5q=4+3p

Dividing both sides by 5, we get;

q=\frac{4+3p}{5}

Thus, the formula subject to q is \frac{4+3p}{5}

Cylinders A and B are similar solids. The base of cylinder A has a circumference of 47 units. The base of cylinder B has an
fiasKO [112]
<h3><u>Question:</u></h3>

Cylinders A and B are similar solids. The base of cylinder A has a circumference of 4π units. The base of cylinder B has an area of 9π units.

The dimensions of cylinder A are multiplied by what factor to produce the corresponding dimensions of cylinder B?

<h3><u>Answer:</u></h3>

Dimensions of cylinder A are multiplied by \frac{3}{2}  to produce the corresponding dimensions of cylinder B

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

Cylinders A and B are similar solids.

The base of cylinder A has a circumference of 4 \pi units

The base of cylinder B has an area of 9 \pi units

Let "x" be the required factor

From given question,

Dimensions of cylinder A are multiplied by what factor to produce the corresponding dimensions of cylinder B

Therefore, we can say,

\text{Dimensions of cylinder A} \times x = \text{Dimensions of cylinder B }

<h3><u>Cylinder A:</u></h3>

The circumference of base of cylinder (circle ) is given as:

C = 2 \pi r

Where "r" is the radius of circle

Given that  base of cylinder A has a circumference of 4 \pi units

Therefore,

4 \pi = 2 \pi r\\\\r = 2

Thus the dimension of cylinder A is radius = 2 units

<h3><u>Cylinder B:</u></h3>

The area of base of cylinder (circle) is given as:

A = \pi r^2

Given that,  the base of cylinder B has an area of 9 \pi units

Therefore,

\pi r^2 = 9 \pi\\\\r^2 = 9\\\\r = 3

Thus the dimension of cylinder B is radius = 3 units

\text{Dimensions of cylinder A} \times x = \text{Dimensions of cylinder B }\\\\2 \times x = 3\\\\x = \frac{3}{2}

Thus dimensions of cylinder A are multiplied by \frac{3}{2}  to produce the corresponding dimensions of cylinder B
